About me

I started to develop my passion for paintings, colours, ethnic textiles and cultures through my surrounding’s cosmopolitan Art & Theater background and my graduation from Fine Art Academy Köln with focus on theatre costume.

Working for about 40 years in the world of theater and opera was an enormous source of inspiration. I am inspired by the creative process and having the opportunity to work with international artists and designers to find new solutions and techniques for the best results.
Through precious travel experiences to India, Indonesia and Japan I discovered Asian culture and colors which greatly influenced me.
Initially, I started painting with oil colours but lately I am experimenting with oil and cold wax.

I firmly believe that all life is energy and our love for this life can be so rich and colorful. This energy is what I like to display in my paintings: joyful and vibrant colors.
